My first NaNoWriMo!

Hey!!
I am participating in NaNoWriMo for the first time! I have got inspired from my wonderful fellow bloggers- Seana, July, Emma, Amy and lots more..
So, this is a story, well, kind of that I'm trying to write I'm putting up some of it here to get comments and criticism. Please, I really need everyone's opinion!

Why is she looking at me? Does she thinks that I'm weird? " No, you're not!" Omorfia's voice popped up in my head. "Could you let me think?" I shout in my head, " there ought to be some things only I know about!". "But we're best friends, aren't we?" she sounds upset. I'm more upset than her, right now, "yeah, I must be the only one who has an imaginary best friend, to whom I can talk inside my mind and see her only in my dreams!". "I've told you million times I am not imaginary!" she shouts,
"I don't know" I wait for her reply but I don't hear anything, my attention goes back to that girl. There's something different about her, she has nice vibes as my aunt says. "Everyone has their own vibes, that depends on their character. She is pretty with reddish brown hair and green eyes, her eyes look startlingly different because of the unique colour combination of her eyes and hair.

What do you think?
I need a visual for knowing my character, so I chose this one!

There was a performance by Swanand Kirkire, an eminent lyricist of India who has gave hits like Ala Barfi, Behti Hawa Sa etc. it was a treat to ears to listen to him as he is a singer too!
There was a performance by Jasleen  Kaur who came on India's got Talent, indeed she is talented!
She sang in an Mtv music video, the song was in Punjabi..
I enjoyed the company of my little cousins! My 9 year old cousin Vinayak and I found chances and escaped to the bookstall, everyone kept calling us!:D

All about Religions..

                      All about religions...

I am a Hindu by religion but I recently bough a Quran (holy books of Muslims) I was convinced of converting to Islam, but still practice Hinduism. I wanted to be a Christian from a long time ago too.
I found the term "multi denominational" in religion.
There is no religion which preaches violence...Is there? There are instances of Gods preaching violence in every religion, but if studied deeply the action is need of the hour.

One religion preaches idol worship while the other condemns but no matter what all religions preach love, kindness and faith..
So I've decided to be a multi denominational person in terms of religion.
In case anyone wonders why I didn't use the word polytheist, because it means a person who beleives in many Gods while I believe in many religions.

The Oblivious Leaf..: a poem

So, this is the poem I wrote yesterday with landscapes of autum in my mind..
I used personification, as I reffered to the leaf as him.,
Comment if you visited.. (: and follow my blog if you liked!:D

The Oblivious Leaf..

My gaze fell upon a tree
I eyed it with awe...
Adorned with autum leaves
It was the most beautiful tree I ever saw!

I sat all by myself
Enjoyed its beauty and adored it
I liked it as a whole
As well as it's every bit

Various shades of yellow and orange
I saw in a leaf..
A breeze detached him from the tree
He parted with grief..:(

I bent down
And picked him up in my hand
He sobbed,
"Leave now was the tree's command!

I'm a part of tree's family
I'm not a piece of waste..!
Why did I had to depart from all of it
In such a haste?

I was a member of the family
I'm like the other leaves...
We shared the tree's love
And all our beliefs

No one wants my company anymore,
That's what I found"
"I do" I said,
And kept him in my book all safe and sound!

A New Faith..

Hey...
I wanted to write about this as soon as I got home but we went for lunch and then for a drive..
So, today I became a Muslim officially...:) I am a multi denominational person now though I was earlier too I made it official today!!I believe in Hinduism and Islam both.. We have to just recite a kalma(a few lines) but with full faith to convert to Islam.

There are so many things I have to learn Hadis(rules and some verses one has to recite before starting or after finishing a task) like the one to recite before eating is-
"Bilmillahi wa 'ala barakatillah' meaning 'In the name of Allah and in the blessing of Allah'

I'll keep fast (roze) it is daunting but with faith any task can be completed. We have to wake up before sunrise and eat food, food prepared is a wide menu with various delicious dishes, but then one has to stay hungry and thirsty throughout the day [sounds tough, right?]
We have to offer namaz five times a day as per the ruled though, people do miss once or twice!
I'll learn how to offer namaz day after tomorrow.

Now time to give credit..Sadaf my friend who practices Islam herself taught me the rituals and recited the verses and I followed her..Tomorrow is Eid so Eid mubarak that means Happy Eid
